Newer, gently used fiction and non-fiction books are sold year-round online and at book’mark, The Library Store in the Central Library, 350 W. Georgia Street.

Used Book Donations

Downsizing? Decluttering? Friends of the Vancouver Public Library gratefully accepts your gently used books for our fundraising book sales.

• Hard and softcover books: Non-fiction, fiction for all ages, children’s picture books, and coffee table books.
  All languages are welcome.

• Assorted media: LPs, CDs, & DVDs.

• NO large donations at this time.

• Due to limited storage space:

  • NO encyclopedia sets

  • NO textbooks

  • NO stationary or photo albums

  • No magazines or catalogues

  • NO spiral-bound publications

  • NO VHS tapes or cassettes

  • NO books or media in poor condition (i.e. stained, scratched, or damaged)

Drop off Locations

• At this time, we do not have space to accept donations of more than 4 boxes.

• Donations can be brought to book’mark, The Library Store during regular store hours. Do not leave donations at Central Library loading docks or other branches.
